The XP lamps in RuneScape are great for leveling up skills quickly. The amount of XP given by these lamps is equal to your current level in the skill multiplied by 10. There are two types of XP lamp: normal and genie. The normal XP lamps can be bought from the Grand Exchange and give you up to 2,500 experience in any skill (except prayer). The genie XP lamp can be rubbed by players and gives the player a huge amount of experience in a specific skill of their choice. The genie XP lamp is available for a limited time only.
Using the genie XP lamp for a skill is very simple. First, players must select the skill they would like to gain experience in. Then they need to rub the genie XP lamp until the desired amount of experience is reached. If they want to increase their experience even more, they can continue to rub the genie XP lamp over and over again. Once the XP is gained, players can choose to keep the genie lamp or lose it.
If they lose the lamp, all of their experience will be lost. Fortunately, the genie XP lamp can be recharged to give players more experience in their selected skill. These lamps can also be used to obtain a variety of items in the game, such as shards and keys. Using these shards and keys can help players reach their leveling goals much faster. This can be especially beneficial for new players who are struggling to level up their skills.
